Important
The process for confirming your identity has recently changed
If you received your instructions from Tribal before 1st August 2013 there will be reference to printing off a form with details of your identity documents on. This is no longer the case. Now you only print off details of the access codes which you give to the person who is confirming your identity
For those who:
1. Work with in the Prison Service estate
2. Have a driving licence issue in Northern Ireland and comprises numbers only
3. Anticipate their ID checker will not be able to complete the Veri-fy process online
If you fall into one of the categories above please click here instead of proceeding with the process below.
For all other applicants you will need to:
- Complete online a Veri-fy® form
- Print out or save the instructions to your mobile device
- Take the form together with the documents you have selected one of the professionals listed in Part B of the form
- They will verify your identity by completing an online form via our website
- Your ID documents will be returned to you
- There may be a charge for having you identity confirmed . You will have to pay this
Please note
On the instruction sheet a date shown by which you must have your identity confirmed. After that date the data you have entered will be deleted from our system and you will have to start again
Who can confirm your identity
A list of those people acceptable to Tribal will appear below and on the instruction sheet when it is printed out
To complete your Veri-fy® form you will need to have in front of you:
Your passport - if you have one Your UK photo-driving licence (full or provisional) - if you have one If you cannot produce either of these please contact the organisation which has asked you to have your identity confirmed for an alternative form Two of the following, one of which MUST confirm your current address.
- Bank/Building Society Statement (UK & EEA)
- Benefit Statement e.g. Child Allowance (UK)
- Birth Certificate (UK & CI)
- Council tax statement (UK & Channel Islands)
- Credit Card Statement (UK & EEA)
- Electricity Bill (UK)
- EU National ID card
- Gas Bill (UK)
- Letter of Sponsorship from future employment provider
- Mortgage Statement (UK & EEA)
- P45/P60 Statement (UK & Channel Islands)
- Telephone Bill landline only (UK)
- UK Entitlement Document From Central / Local Government / Government Agency / Local Authority (UK)
- Water Bill (UK)
- Work Permit/Visa (UK & Channel Islands)
You can only have your application checked by the following types of people.
- Barrister
- Care Home Manager
- Certified or Chartered Accountant
- Civil Servant - EO or above
- Dentist
- Director of a company registered in the UK
- Doctor
- Head of Security
- Judge or holder of a Judicial Appointment
- Licenced Conveyancer
- Nurse/ Midwife
- Person on Finacial Services Register(FCA)
- Pharmacist
- Police Officer
- Prison Governor
- Probation Officer
- Social Worker
- Solicitor
- Teacher Lecturer or Head Teacher
- Veterinary Surgeon
You will have 14 days after submitting your details to have your application checked by a member of one of these groups.
You will be able to download a set of instructions to guide them through the process after you have submitted your details.
